Update 2.2 is the 12th major update of Geometry Dash, with no set release date. It is possible to either copy a level into Geometry Dash World (you would need to have a GD user account) or use a hacked APK of Geometry Dash SubZero to gain access to the 2.2 version of the level editor, which does. Toasty here bringing you another another update post! I have some great news and some.

I just purchased a 2017 9.7' iPad (128 GB) and noticed that there is occasional (and somewhat annoying) jitter when scrolling in Safari and Photos. This machine replaced an iPad Air which doesn't have this problem - its scrolling is buttery smooth despite having a much older CPU/GPU. I appreciate that the A9 CPU performance should be about 1.8 times as fast as the chip in the Air, but I haven't seen any real-world benchmarks about the video performance.
Is it really that bad?For what it is worth, I played around with a number of similar iPads in the local Apple store and they all had the same jittery scrolling. The comparisons were done using Safari and looking at the same website - both my old Air and a 9.7' Pro had much smoother scrolling.Any ideas what is happening? Thanks.Warren Nagourney. For what it is worth, I am returning the iPad and have purchased an iPad Air 2 for $30 less for the same configuration (Best Buy). The Air 2 is noticeably lighter (1.3 oz) and the scrolling jitter is almost completely absent. Using them side by side, the Air 2 has a less reflective display but is less bright - for outdoor use, this is a wash. The new iPad has a larger battery - this should make it last a bit longer. The CPU is a bit faster (about 30%), but this is not a problem in any apps I run (on the Air 2).The main reason for choosing the Air 2 is the display jitter - most people would not notice it very much, for me it was very annoying.wn.
I am surprised that very few people noticed this - when I returned the unit I demonstrated the issue to the person at the Apple Store and she couldn't see it. One of the nice things about iOS is it's silky smoothness and the jerky scrolling stood out like a sore thumb. My 'new' Air 2 is as smooth as the Pro.Another thing I didn't like about the new iPad is it's appearance of being thrown together out of old parts: Air screen, slightly modified Air case, iPhone 6s processor, etc. Apple usually uses somewhat optimized parts in each iPad iteration and the new one seems an exception.Despite claims of greater CPU performance, the Air 2 has 3 cores, so apps which need performance (games?) might do as well on the older machine and the only GPU test I have seen shows that they have similar performance (the Air 2 has 8 GPH cores, the new iPad has 6).
The 2017 iPad 5 is touted as the budget iPad and is geared toward getting older iPad 2, 3, 4 and 1st gen Mini users to upgrade their aging ( 5 and 6 year old) iPads to an iPad with a huge spec update as well as as a new device with 64 bit app support.Older iPads only support 32 bit apps and support for those 32 bit apps will start to disappear by the end of the year with the introduction of iOS 11.This model iPad is NOT a replacement for the last, two year old iPad Air 2. There maybe a new iPad Air model coming for all we know, but the iPad 5th generation isn't it!The jittery scrolling maybe some sort of defect and maybe your Apple Store had a bunch of these defective units? No one else here has posted this issue with their new 2017 iPad 5 models. I agree - it was very annoying and very noticeable to me, though other observers had trouble seeing it. I thought that it might be software related and installed 10.3.1. Perhaps it was my imagination, but this seemed to help very slightly. The jitter is was still there.I have some hypotheses about the problem.
First, the GPU in the A9 is designed for a phone which has fewer pixels than the iPad. Perhaps it is some such mismatch. Also, the phone chips are probably designed with low power consumption as a very high priority and might be simpler than the ones for the iPad.
Note that this the first time (I believe) that a phone chip is being used in a retina iPad. I suppose, given Apple's secrecy about hardware details, we will never know. Well,Went to my Apple Store today and tried the new iPad 5 and the jittery scrolling is definitely present and is noticeable as is makes everything slightly out of focus as you scroll with your finger. This jitter does NOT happen when you do a single, large flick of your finger onscreen and let the content 'free scroll'.No scroll jitter that way.The jittery scrolling only happens when you constantly and consistently do short finger scrolling movements. This jittering scroll is across all apps, so I am thinking this is some sort of hardware issue.Either a GPU issue or a touch panel issue. Is nobody else seeing stuttering/jittering across all games?
